Looking for advise from those with experience

I am looking to get hooked up in the belly dancing ring here. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I would like to start with the right people. Thanks:)

    I think the "right people" might depend upon what you are looking for.
    Are you looking for tribal or cabaret? Are you looking for a fusion style or a more traditional style? Are you looking for classes and/or gigs? I think either way you'd do well to start out at a school and get to know the people there. Through a reputable school you'll get training and (if you're looking for gigs) find out who the performers are.
