Re: Anyone know where I can purchase a Moroccan SENTIR
Wed, January 25, 2006 - 9:44 AMwow... talk about delayed response... but if you're still looking, Lark in the Morning (SF Bay Area) has one for $625. Which is waaaay too much btw. In France you buy one for 150 euros. But then we're not in France, so...
...there's also help on making your own on this site:
larose.free.fr/guembri/
Don't let the names "Sentir" v. "Guembri" throw you off. It seems that when it's smaller and high-pitched, Americans call it "Gembri" and when it's bigger and lower they call it "Sentir"
Most of the French, Morrocan, and Algerian people seem to call both "Guembri".
Anyways I thought I'd answer this post even though it's a year later because I didn't know anyone else was interested in this..
