I really like my dance teacher, she has taught me a lot. I live in a small town and the next closest classes are about 45 min away. The only problem I am having is that my teacher seems to be very interested in her always being in the spotlight and not giving the younger dancers any chance to perform so I want to attend another class along with this one so I get a chance to dance. Since it is a small community, I don't want her to hurt her by finding out I am dancing with another teacher as well, but at the same time I don't feel like I can go up to her and tell her all of this. Any advice? Thanks Ladies!

I have taken from many different teachers and I think that it is important as you're exploring other teachers to get other teachers' moves and styles in order to be challenged and create a style of your own. You'd be surprised how different another teacher can be and just how much they can teach you. In fact, my first teacher encouraged us to explore other styles of the dance as well. The best thing I can say is think of it as a way for you to grow and learn in the dance.
